Jim started at Schlenner Wenner & Co. in January 2016 as an Intern while enrolled at St Cloud State University. He graduated in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and received his CPA license in 2019. Jim enjoys assisting his local community and developed an interest in business and accounting by watching his parents run their small business throughout his childhood. He has always liked working with numbers and enjoys the daily challenges that make every day at the office a little different. His work ethic and attention to detail have provided him with the ability to successfully assist individuals and business owners with the variety of services that our Firm offers. Jim works out of our Monticello office and specializes in general accounting, business tax, compiled and reviewed financial statement, sales tax reporting, and individual tax.
